First, do no harm

A representative democracy is meant to be by the people for the people. That does not mean that the people who are governing always know what is best for the state or the people as a whole. Many governmental mistakes could be avoided by the principle of “Not doing.” (See 38 Studios.)

  • I will vote against any bill or legislation that I think causes a public harm.
  • I will not vote for a bill without being clear that it will make a positive difference.
